CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION
The programs presented by UAJ throughout the year are geared to enhance your competence and abilities as trial lawyers and to better serve your clients and the public. All programs are certified for CLE credit. Most of the seminars are taped and available to members for later use. And, of course, members always attend our CLE programs at a reduced rate.
LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATION
UAJ has one of the finest legislative teams in the state. This group of volunteers and paid lobbyists monitor all legislation introduced during the session and committee action during the interim. They serve as the trial bar’s front line in the battle to preserve and improve the role of the justice system in protecting Utah citizens.
E-MAIL LISTSERVS
With one e-mail message, you can pose a question to over four hundred UAJ members. Ask about depositions, expert witnesses, referrals or any other information that may help you in your practice. The UAJ offers ListServs for personal injury, medical malpractice, social security, workers compensation, employment law, and criminal law.
THE UTAH TRIAL JOURNAL
UAJ's quarterly publication features articles and editorials on current legal topics and trial techniques, summaries of recent trial verdicts, settlements and appellate decisions, reports on UAJ legislative activities and pertinent professional announcements. Keep up on the latest information from Utah authors as well as trial lawyers from across the nation.
